Review: Peace A Pizza, Exton PA

Peace A Pizza is a growing franchise that began in Rosemont, PA. They are up to 15 stores. They may be pushing the size limits of any ability to craft authentic pie, but for now they are not only miles better than the big chains, but also ahead of the local mom'n'pop pizza joints.

In their favor is the wide and inventive variety of slices available. Better than average toppings earn them half a point. Where they fail, as do almost all ordinary piemakers, is in the crust. Too soft and lacking true character or flavor. The crust is not merely a plate on which to pile toppings, it is the heart and foundation of any fine pizza.

Peace A Pizza is the best I've found so far in West Chester, but it's still nothing special. 6.5 out of 10.
